Set in a 3D point cloud theater environment, “La Pasión XR ” brings visitors to an ephemeral, audio-reactive concert experience where they are free to explore a showcase of powerful volumetric and 360 stereo recordings of the Gateway Chamber Orchestra in Clarksville, TN. In Spring of 2023, the ensemble performed a limited run of the landmark work by composer Osvaldo Golijov - “La Pasión segun San Marcos ” (2000) and the team of technologists at Agile Lens were invited to create a cinematic experience that brings the piece to life in virtual space for all to experience. Using methods like volumetric capture and 3D scanning, the creators have made a world where anyone can get incredible seats
