Buckle up buckaroos, space is about to get weird. I'm your host Tom Sennett, Philly's favorite game dev, The Last Real Indie Game Designer on Earth, creator of RunMan, Deepak Fights Robots, and more. I've been a solo game developer for 20 years, and One Million Stars is my freshest. It's a top-down 2D arcade space game with screen wrapping, in the vein of classics like Asteroids. You collect stars and avoid monsters. A million times! Along the way you'll pilot 4 different characters and a fleet of unlockable ships, wielding stackable equipment upgrades and a variety of powerups as each run throws new challenges at you. This game is simple, addictive, and replayable, revealing more complexity as you get deeper in. You can play by yourself, or with up to 3 other friends in local co-op. Each run you collect as many stars as possible, and between runs they get banked towards your total goal
