Final Fantasy VII (2013) PC Steam Gift brings the RPG classic to PC through Steam. The story begins in Midgar, a city controlled by the mega-conglomerate Shinra Inc. AVALANCHE destroys the No. 1 Mako Reactor while rebelling against Shinra and its consumption of Mako energy. Cloud, a former member of Shinra’s elite SOLDIER force, becomes involved in the conflict. The game includes 36 achievements for recording in-game accomplishments. Online profiles let players share those accomplishments with friends. Cloud save support allows progress to continue on another computer and requires an internet connection. Saves can be transferred between a maximum of 3 computers at any one time. The Character Booster can raise HP, MP and Gil to their maximum levels. This option is activated with a button when additional help is wanted during the adventure. The PC release has been updated to support newer hardware and Windows operating systems. Its 3× speed mode allows the game to run at up to three times its usual speed.
