Each Japanese god has three god creatures instead of three god tokens. Players must creatively help the Norse and Greeks resist this powerful new threat. Hamlets introduce non-combative, non-factional villages built among fallen towns. Their limited building queue cycles whenever a structure is placed. The DLC includes 11 hamlet building types that gain or lose Culture through adjacency rules. Culture enables Enlarge Radius of Town, Reverse Time, Stop Woe and Super Smite. Culture and Sunstone support a Cultural Victory through construction of the Luminith Tower. Hamlet Idyll offers score-based play with hamlets and without the military side. Every faction receives 3 map types, 9 woes, 2 land tiles and a Military Outpost building. Ten Pablo Vega music tracks include new vocal music for winning and losing.
